\nScene:\u00a0Linda Fargo,\u00a0Bergdorf Goodman senior vice president of the fashion office and director of women\u2019s fashion and store presentation, about to enter the Adeam Spring Summer 2018 Fashion Show.<\/p>\n

The Adeam brand by Japanese designer Hanako Maeda \u2014 Hanako was\u00a0impressed by the Soho area during a trip to Hong Kong, the meeting point between eastern and western culture. She was inspired by the\u00a0young locals who\u00a0mixed traditional Chinese dress with new streetwear\u00a0\u2014 \u201cthat lead to my exploration of Seventies disco\u201d aiming\u00a0to bridge cultures in her fashion and encourage people to break away from a homogeneous way of dressing. In an unexpected way Maeda fused Seventies disco with traditional Chinese fashion creating a collection that aims at conveying concepts like optimism, integration, and individuality. In her mind, Studio 54 was where people felt free to express themselves through clothes.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>Scene: Peter Gray, lead hair stylist for Redken\/Cutler.\u00a0He\u00a0is recognized for his exceptional cutting skills and lightness of touch \u2014\u00a0Gray established himself in the 90\u2019s as a leading force in the field of creative hair while working with photographers S\u00f8lve Sundsb\u00f8, Miles Aldridge, and Richard\u00a0Burbridgh\u00a0among others. He recently directed the hair runway for\u00a0<\/span>Martin Margiela, Junya Watanabe and Herm\u00e8s. Peter has worked for\u00a0Vogue, Haper\u2019s Bazaar, and Numero. For the recent Yokohama Hair Renaissance event\u00a0in Japan, Gray created a hair show of extreme sculptural looks.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n
