Autumn Cool


Scene: Browns on the town. Black leather. Motifs and imagery. Wildflowers like pastels are no longer reserved for spring. Hints of Pantone’s 2019 color “Living Coral”. Black, grey, and white always in sight. Slim jackets with slender jeans. Classic trench coats with a twist. Headgear. Heartland warm knits, soft cashmere, and smooth suede. Plaid with tradition. Boots with heels, high and low, kicks and Vans, Dr. Martins, Gucci fur-lined mules. Winter arrives in eleven days on December 21.

Scene: Purely Patricia, Always in Bloom, Autumn, Spring, Winter, and Summer. Purely Patricia created this fashion assemblage to set the tone for Prints, Plaids, and Posies. It was a one night pop up “Nothing Matches and Everything Goes!” It was a colorful night. Purely Patricia curated the fashion and accessories for the event. She is the style collaborator for Housing Works, the New York City based non-profit fighting the twin crises of AIDS and homelessness.
