Summer Days: one


Scene: Summer is still here! On September 22 at 10:49 am the seasons change in the northern hemisphere. Let’s not rustle summer away. Back to school. Summer breezes are still here. Sunny days. Ice cream cones. City heat and the beat. Summer, one of three, DownTown begins now…


Scene: Suspenders. Black and white with a touch of grey in the
Louis Vuitton bag.


Scene: Suspenders, stripes and color.


Scene: Muted colors. Fabics with a subtle sheen on her. He wears suspenders in an unconventional way. This trend has been scene out and about in the city. Both wear big watches.


Scene: Beige, black and brown. The up-rolled casual cuff, no socks and dress shoes for work. Big silver watch with bracelets. New Yorkers carrying their bags. Note Eisenberg’s Sandwich shop, upper right side, see next caption below.


Scene: Kelly and Kim, who meet and greet you at Eisenberg’s Sandwich. This classic diner has been around since 1929. I’m a pretty healthy eater — their vegetarian omelet, tuna melt, veggie burger and their smiles always bring me back.


Scene: Blue on blue and brown. Pattern shirt, white tee, denim jeans with that up-rolled casual cuff, white socks, brown shoes with a light blue sole, watch with bracelet.

Rockindale


Scene: An eclectic mix of street style at the 34th Rosendale Street Festival. This annual emergence of Main Street businesses, musicians, vendors and folks, near and far, who attend — continues the spirited tradition with musical celebration, fun and community spirit. Rosendale is located between New Paltz and Kingston, New York.

“This started out with some musicians who wanted to throw a party in 1978, who came downtown and set up and played…” said Festival chairman Charlie Kniceley. The Music Festival of Rosendale, Inc. is a
not-for-profit, grassroots citizen organization.
